A Puzzle

I love finding something new and intriguing..... On my walk today I came across this little fellow but so far have been unable to work out what she/he is?  Can you help me?

  1. This is a Yellowhammer. A bunting often seen perched on top of a bushes, or in a hedgerow. This is a male, bright yellow head and underparts (female is similar but less yellow). Generally solitary birds, but do form winter flocks. Aren't they lovely!

  2. Thanks Jennifer. I thought he was lovely, and in fact, have seen a few flying together over the weekend.
